| Founded in 1979, W9 Pty Ltd’s mandate was to be an independent non-aligned importer and wholesaler of dental and medical supplies. In this way W9 would differentiate itself from many of the existing wholesalers that also had retail operations. W9's directive was to support its operations through building strong dealer relationships and adding value to their businesses. With this philosophy and vision the founder and owner Dr Raymond Shroot grew the business from the back room of his dental surgery into a multi-million dollar operation. W9 now sells to almost every dental dealer in Australia and its products are widely used by the profession. In addition to the imported lines W9 has also taken up the gauntlet by manufacturing a range of infection control products under its brand onGARD. As opportunities present themselves W9 will continue to support local industry. In November 1999 W9 took delivery of a computer operated colour printer. This enabled us to further support our dealers with individually tailored promotional sheets. W9 is very conscious that for our business to grow we must make our dealers and partners successful. |

W9 supplies over 2000 product lines to dental and medical dealers and institutions throughout Australia. These include infection control products, sterilisation packaging, wound management, impression and restorative materials, hand instruments, rotary instruments and single use disposable consumables.
W9 markets its products and services through its dealers who in turn promote through their representative sales force. Government and institutional business is on a direct basis. W9 has been distinguished by its broad range of products, marketing support, innovative ideas and high quality service. W9's commitment to quality control is accredited to ISO 9002: 1994. We are presently undergoing an upgrade to ISO 9001: 2000 certification. W9 is well established in the government market as a preferred supplier to Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia and the Australian Military. In addition to this we also hold medical supply contracts in a number of states. W9 has been growing rapidly over the last eight years averaging double-digit percentage increases annually. Growth has been driven through the demand for preventative and innovative products and the requirement for healthcare professionals to conform to government infection control standards. W9 believes the future will be challenging. We must continue to be customer focussed, supplying goods and services that meet or exceed their expectations. |
